The American Enterprise Institute seeks a full-time research assistant to James Pethokoukis, the editor of the AEI blog, AEIdeas.The research assistant will work closely with Mr. Pethokoukis as he produces a variety of policy analyses on tech policy for the blog and outside media entities. The research assistant will also play a driving role in producing the scholar’s podcast and video projects. In addition, the research assistant will edit and publish blog posts for AEIdeas. AEI economists study a wide variety of economic policy issues related to the US economy, tax policy, international finance, political economy, and financial services. The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) is pleased to announce the opening of the application process for the Jeane Kirkpatrick Fellowship and Scholars Program in Foreign and Defense Policy for the academic year beginning in the fall of 2021. AEI offers a salary of $60,000 for fellows and $80,000 for scholars. The deadline for applications is January 15, 2021. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis. FellowsTwo Jeane Kirkpatrick fellows will be selected for two-year terms in AEI’s Foreign and Defense Policy Department.
