Overview

The American Enterprise Institute seeks a full-time data analyst to work in the education policy department. The position’s primary responsibility is to provide analytic and research support for data-driven projects in both the higher education and K-12 policy areas, including manipulating, merging, cleaning, interpreting, and analyzing large datasets. Other secondary duties will include helping to coauthor reports and short-form articles on newsworthy topics in education policy.

 

This position requires excellent quantitative skills and high writing, research, communication, and organization proficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in and knowledge of education policy. Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while also working with minimal supervision are essential. Both PhD and master’s degree holders, along with those with requisite quantitative skills, are encouraged to apply.
